I come here often, and even go out of my way to be here instead of somewhere closer. The staff is incredible. The regulars are kind. I can sit and feel like I’m in a safe place, even after some trauma that has me nervous often. Thank a for the vibes!! Oh and the begs are great too!!

Always an inviting atmosphere. Service is always top notch. You can for hours and not be disturbed. Furry friends are always welcome.

Starting my day at Grassroots reminds me how powerful community really is. Walking in, being greeted by familiar faces, and feeling genuinely cared for gives me the motivation I need to get through the day. Arber makes me the best hot caramel chai (he even brûlées the cinnamon and sugar on top for me) and somehow that small act of kindness always completely changes my mood. This place has truly become home. The people here feel like family. The warmth, love, and intention behind every cup never goes unnoticed. I’m so grateful for this space and the community that fills it. I highly recommend Grassroots to anyone looking for community, great kava, or even just a cup of delicious coffee ☕🤍

Had my first kava experience. The staff is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, especially for beginners. I told them it was my first time trying Kava and received my 1st kava on the house! I ordered a traditional single, went upstairs on the patio and sipped my kava. My mouth grew numb, as a gentle euphoria slowly crept through my body. I felt relaxed, focused, socialbke, giggly, and extremely grounded. The flavor was a little minty, and grassy, but not as intense as I expected. The buzz is unique in its own, trying to compare it to alcohol doesn't do it fair justice. It feels way more deliberate, healthy and leads to introspective thoughts rather than dullness experienced by alcohol. I drank the whole shell, And after maybe an hour after my first sip, the effects began to subside. Where an alcoholic beverage would render me useless the rest of the day, this kava was the perfect way to unwind for a little then move on with my day. I went back the next day and bought some on the go kava brewers they offer to take home with me. After more discussion with the staff I realized how special this place was. Still Love this place. I work from here all the time, as this place has a vast beverage selection, ample seating (both indoor & outdoor), as well as providing quality service. Everyone who works here is awesome. Coffee, kava, Kratom, tea... what else do you need? Some small snack options, but nothing too filling. Definitely give this place a shot if you've never been.
